244 Newly Identified Human miRNA genes are added to the Known miRNA track
We added newly identified 244 human miRNAs to the "Known miRNA" track of our UCSC GenomeBrowser for Functional RNAs.
Berezikov et al [1] Identified 447 novel miRNA genes in human and chimpanzee brains by using MPSS (massively parallel signature sequencing). We imported their results to the Known miRNA track of UCSC GenomeBrowser for Functional RNAs.
